Where arrivals happen

  • Terminal 1 — on the southern side of the airport, with three sub-terminals (A, B and C), each equipped with five baggage carousels.
  • Terminal 2 — on the north-western side, opposite Terminal 1, with three sub-terminals (D, E and F); sub-terminal 2F serves hajj and umrah flights.
  • Terminal 3 — on the north-eastern side; the newest and largest terminal (422,804 m², in its current form since 2016).

Arrival procedure

  1. Disembarkation — follow the Arrivals signage and the flight information screens to your terminal.
  2. Immigration — foreign nationals clear entry control at the immigration counters with a valid passport. Citizens of ASEAN states, most of Europe (including France, Belgium and the Netherlands), the UK, the US, Japan and many other countries may enter visa-free for up to 30 days (non-extendable); many other nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival or e-VOA (Rp 500,000, up to 30 days, extendable once) — apply through the official e-Visa portal before travel.
  3. Baggage claim — collect checked luggage on the arrivals level of your terminal, at the carousels shown on the screens.
  4. Customs — declare goods over the duty-free allowance before leaving the baggage hall.
  5. Exit and ground transport — the free Skytrain, the Airport Rail Link, buses, taxis and rental cars are available from the arrivals level.

Meeting and waiting

Meeting points are located in the arrivals halls of each terminal, landside. Ask at the information desk for the exact spot.

Onward connections

Connecting passengers follow the transfer signs to the connecting desk in their terminal, then proceed to the departure area after security. The free Skytrain connects all three terminals and the airport station.
